I have 25 years experience and many credits on high profile programmes, documentaries and series programmes. I am very interested in editing agenda-setting documentaries, observational docs, history and music documentaries.

I have worked for some of the largest and best independent production companies in the UK, editing a range of programmes and documentaries for different strands and have edited for all the leading current affairs programmes.

I have a full home Avid suite and a fast internet connection. I am accustomed to working to very tight deadlines, within strict budgets, while maintaining extremely high creative standards in visuals and music, working closely with and directing, graphic designers, music composers and archive producers.

I have dealt with large amounts of undercover/ ob doc/ actuality and multi-camera shoot footage, plus archive. I am experienced at edit producing alone and also working closely with the PD and DOP – including in setting the direction at the pre-production stage. I'm also skilled at grasping the essence of the story, the argument, the nuggets of sync to bring out the best in characters and at structuring the narrative arc.
